Shannon Finn Connell began her career at Procter & Gamble, where she worked for ten years in global marketing roles. She worked internationally for Procter & Gamble, including several years leading Beauty Care and Laundry consumer research in China. Her work in China was followed by an extensive assignment with P&G in South America. Shannon held management positions with other blue chip corporations such as Royal Dutch Shell and Gillette. In 2004, she was named Vice-President, Customer Insights and Market Development for SYSCO Corporation, the largest foodservice marketing and distribution organization in North America. From 2002-2008, she was an Adjunct Professor of Management at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business. Shannon has presented on insights, innovation and design thinking at conferences around the world, and she is an active member of the Academy of Management.
Shannon holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology, an MBA in Management and a Ph.D. in Organization Development and Change.
